We are excited to announce a new feature coming during the first quarter of 2016! We had considered building our own email delivery engine but why re-invent the wheel when you can leverage a proven emailing platform like Mailchimp. So what are we actually integrating and how will it work? Simple!
The idea behind this is to give you a seamless method of communicating with your athletes through a proven platform like Mailchimp. All you need to do is sign up for a MailChimp account, connect your account to Competition Corner. Competition Corner will automatically sync your athletes as they register directly into a designated list in MailChimp.
What can you do with Mailchimp?
You can:
- Personalize and brand every email you send through various Mailchimp templates available to you or create your own email templates.
- Keep all your athletes up to date and on the same page on any changes around your event, leading up and event on the day of your event.
- Market and promote future events
These are just some examples but the possibilities are endless. And the best thing about it is, you no longer have to manually import this into whatever emailing system you’ve been using in the past. Boom!
